Lomography, a company started by two Austrian students dedicated to keeping “creative analogue photography available and accessible to everyone” has just released the most amazing new product: a handheld converter that allows you to scan your old negatives directly into your smartphone.
The Lomography Smartphone Film Scanner comes with a built-in tray and backlight that works with any 35 mm film. It’s just $59, a steal considering a friend of mine just spent $300 developing a box of old school film to find out she didn’t like any of the photographs.
The Lomography store also has great analog cameras, all kind of film, and darkroom accessories. I could easily spend a small fortune here, but for now, I’m sticking just with the scanner, which I love!
What do you do with your old negatives?

Lol, I did the same thing as your friend! I found a bunch of old negatives and when I had them developed, it cost me fortune and I didn’t like any of them! I’m definitely going to look into this.
